HENDRY AND SKILLE HEAD BACK TO CHICAGO
Chicago, Ill.-General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have recalled forward Jack Skille and defenseman Jordan Hendry from Rockford in the AHL.
The two players were assigned to Rockford last Friday and played that same night in Rockford as the IceHogs defeated Chicago 4-3.
Jack Skille has appeared in 13 games for the Blackhawks scoring three goals while adding two assists for five points. Skille played in his first career NHL game on December 30th against the Los Angeles Kings. He scored his first career NHL goal on January 8th at Montreal.
Jordan Hendry has appeared in eight games for the Blackhawks and has not scored while posting eight penalty minutes. Hendry played in his first career NHL game versus Dallas on January 9th.
Both players will join the team in time for the upcoming 17-day road trip which begins in Colorado on Wednesday night.
