Hawks To Honor Chicago Radio Icons
Chicago Blackhawks Senior Vice President of Business Operations Jay Blunk announced today that the Blackhawks will be honoring several of Chicago’s Radio Icons on selected game nights during the remainder of the 2007-08 season.
“Chicago is the best radio town in the country and as Chicagoans, we are fortunate to be able to listen to some of the greatest radio personalities in the business,” said Blunk. “The Blackhawks family is celebrating the rich heritage of radio in Chicago and the range of personalities that make Chicago unique.”
The Chicago Radio Icons scheduled to be honored so far are as follows:

The Blackhawks are committed to making Radio Icon Nights a periodic event during the coming seasons. The Radio Icon Nights are a celebration of the connection that radio provides between the Blackhawks and their fans.
The Blackhawks next home game is the Chicago Radio Icon Night honoring Mike North on Wednesday, January 16 at 7:30 p.m. against the St. Louis Blues.
