Corey Crawford from the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. Crawford was recalled after
Nikolai Khabibulin left practice early today with back spasms.
Crawford has appeared in 46 games for Rockford this season posting a record of 24-15-5 with 2 shutouts, a 2.78 goals against average, and a .909 save percentage. This will be Crwaford’s second recall of the season. He was the backup to
Patrick Lalime on February 14th in the Blackhawks’ 6-1 win at Nashville.
Crawford was the Blackhawks’ 2nd round pick (52nd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
