Hawks Announce 2nd Annual Blackhawks Convention Dates

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced today the team will hold its second annual Chicago Blackhawks Fan Convention at the Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan Ave.) on Fri., July 17; Sat., July 18 and Sun., July 19, 2009.
Fans interested in attending can begin making reservations through the Chicago Hilton on Thu., Dec. 11, 2008 by calling the room reservation department at 1-877-865-5320. Make sure to ask for the Chicago Blackhawks Fan Convention Rate.
Additional Blackhawks Convention details will be posted at chicagoblackhawks.com as they become available. Last year, the Inaugural Chicago Blackhawks Fan Convention, the first of its kind in the National Hockey League, sold out in less than two weeks and entertained over 10,000 fans. It included Blackhawks Hall of Famers Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita and Tony Esposito, along with General Manager Dale Tallon and current players Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, while Blackhawks and National Television Analyst Eddie Olczyk served as honorary chairman.
For the second consecutive year, both current Blackhawks players and alumni will be in attendance throughout the weekend of the fan convention, which will include autograph and photo sessions; Q&A session; exhibits and interactive games and much more.
