HAMMY GEARS UP FOR MASCOT RACE SATURDAY
Rockford, Ill. – Hammy, the official mascot of the Rockford IceHogs, has another fun-filled weekend in store for him around the Rockford area.
On Saturday, Hammy will head out to the ABA BMX Nationals at Searls Park to compete in a mascot race against other local mascots before the bike racing gets underway. The BMX races begin at 11:30 a.m. and Hammy will be visiting with fans to sign autographs and take pictures.
Following the bike races, Hammy will stop by LTM Water on North Main St. in Machesney Park to help the IceHogs Booster Club with their car wash fundraiser. The car wash benefit starts at 10 a.m. and runs throughout the afternoon till 2 p.m.
To wrap up the weekend and start off the week right, Hammy will visit with kids at the Belvidere Park District from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, June 20.
