FOURNIER RECALLED FROM INDY
Young defenseman returns to Rockford
Rockford, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced Friday that they have reassigned defenseman Dillon Fournier from the ECHL’s Indy Fuel to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Fournier, 20, has registered seven points (2g-5a) in 34 games played this year in Indy. The defenseman and Montreal, Quebec native has also appeared in two games this season with the IceHogs, collecting two penalty minutes.
The 2012 second-round pick of the Blackhawks (No. 48 overall) accumulated 108 points (31g-77a) over four years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League , spent with the Lewiston MAINEiacs and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
Next Home Game: Saturday Feb. 7 vs. Milwaukee Admirals. Puck drops at 7 p.m. The IceHogs pay homage to their all-time leading goal scorer when they return to the BMO for Jeremy Morin Bobblehead Night against the Admirals.
