FOUR RECALLED FROM INDY
Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs announced today they have recalled forwards Bryn Chyzyk and Evan Mosey, and defensemen Jonathan Carlsson and Nick Mattson, from their ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel.
Carlsson, 28, has skated in 18 games for the Fuel this season and notched eight points (1g-7a). Last season, the defenseman split time between the IceHogs and the Evansville IceMen (ECHL). He made his season debut in 2015-16 with Rockford on Feb. 19 and collected nine points (2g-7a) in 25 games with the IceHogs. Carlsson also skated in 19 games with Rockford in the 2009-10 season, notching one goal.
Chyzyk, 24, has played in two games for the IceHogs this season, making his pro debut on Oct. 15 in Cleveland. He has collected a +1 plus/minus rating. Chyzyk was assigned to the Fuel on Oct. 29 this season and the left wing has notched a pair of assists in nine games for the Fuel.
Mattson, 25, has posted seven assists and 10 PIM in 18 games for the Fuel. The defenseman split time between the Fuel and Rockford last season, making his pro debut in Rockford on Oct. 30, 2015. He collected six points (1g-6a) and a +4 plus/minus rating for the Hogs in 17 games.
Mosey, 27, returns to the IceHogs after being assigned to the Fuel on Nov. 5. The right wing has played in three games for Rockford, including his North American pro debut on Oct. 14 against Cleveland. In Indy, Mosey has collected three goals and a +2 rating in six games.
Next Home Game: Wednesday, Nov. 30 vs. Manitoba Moose at 7 p.m. Face-off is set for 7 p.m. The IceHogs host the Moose for the first of eight 2016-17 season meetings between the two teams.
