ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs are hosting a final tryout session for their 2017-18 Ice Crew team this Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Carlson Ice Arena.

Participants interested in joining the IceHogs' promotional team are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their tryout on Wednesday to complete an on-site registration for their audition. Please note: those interested in trying out must be at least 18 years of age and require their own skates for the audition.

Duties and responsibilities for Ice Crew members include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in distribution of promotional items
• On & Off-ice setup of promotions
• Greet & Interact with fans
• Sell jersey Raffle Tickets
• Execute pregame activities
• Assist in the "Kids Korner" during games
• Shovel/clean the ice at media timeouts
