Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that center Jacob Dowell has been placed on the injured list because of a broken foot. Dowell will be out of the lineup for two-to-four weeks.

Center Colin Fraser has been recalled from the Blackhawks American Hockey League affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs.

Dowell, 22, made his NHL debut at Calgary on November 22, scoring short-handed for his first NHL goal. In addition to that goal, in four games with the Blackhawks, Dowell had four penalty minutes.

Fraser, 22, has played 21 games for Rockford this season, scoring seven goals and adding three assists for ten points. Fraser has also logged 73 penalty minutes and has a plus-10 rating.

The Blackhawks next game will be at the United Center against the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m. CST. The game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
