Hogs,WTVO and WQRF team up for campaign

Rockford, Ill.- The American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs, along with WTVO-TV channel 17 and WQRF FOX-39, announced details about the “Support The Snort” campaign. The campaign will kick off on Friday, Dec. 7 when the IceHogs take on the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Fans can stop by the “I Support The Snort” kiosk located in the BMO Harris Bank Center’s upper concourse near Oink Outfitters to record their best snort. Fans can also enter online through WTVO and WQRF’s Facebook page by submitting a video and saying “I Support The Snort”.

Everyone who enters will receive a voucher good for the IceHogs’ March 27 game against the Toronto Marlies where the IceHogs will attempt to hold the largest snort day.

All entries will also qualify to be recognized as the “Ultimate Snorter” and will receive the ultimate snort package which includes four club lounge seats, four seats on the IceHogs’ Hamboni, entry into an on-ice promotion at an intermission, four chuck-a-pucks and serve as the conductor of the largest snort, all at the March 27 game.

Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 7 vs. Milwaukee Admirals: Game time is 7:05 p.m. The Admirals and IceHogs meet for the second time this season, both so far at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The Midwest Division rivals will faceoff a total of 12 times this season, including five times in December.
