DIVISION FINALS SET; ICEHOGS BEGIN BEST-OF-7 SERIES IN GRAND RAPIDS THURSDAY
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, in conjunction with the American Hockey League and Grand Rapids Griffins, tonight announced their postseason schedule for the Division Finals of the 2018 Calder Cup playoffs. The four-seed Rockford will square off against the three-seed Grand Rapids in a best-of-seven series beginning this Thursday, May 3 at Van Andel Arena at 6 p.m. CT.
The IceHogs will play back-to-back road games in Grand Rapids on May 3 & 5 before returning to the BMO Harris Bank Center for guaranteed home contests for Game 3 (Ticket D) on Wednesday, May 9 at 7 p.m. and Game 4 (Ticket E) on Friday, May 11 at 7 p.m.
If necessary, the IceHogs and Griffins will alternate hosting games for the final three matchups of the series, with Grand Rapids scheduled to host Game 5 on Saturday, May 12 at 6 p.m. CT and Game 7 on Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. CT. Rockford is set to host an as-necessary Game 6 (Ticket F) at the BMO Harris Bank Center on Monday, May 14 at 7 p.m. CT.
