Defenseman Nicolas Beaudin Recalled to Chicago Blackhawks
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League, announced that defenseman Nicolas Beaudin has been recalled from the IceHogs.
Selected by the Blackhawks in the first round (27th overall) of the 2018 National Hockey League Draft, Beaudin notched 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) in 59 games with the IceHogs, his first season of professional hockey.
Over four seasons (2015-19) with the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Chateauguay, Quebec, product recorded 167 points (24 goals, 143 assists) in 211 regular-season games and added six goals and 14 helpers in 33 postseason games. He netted a team-leading 69 points (12 goals, 57 assists) in 68 regular-season games and was named to the QMJHL Second All-Star team during the 2017-18 campaign.
