DEFENSEMAN DAVID PHILLIPS LOANED TO TOLEDO
Blueliner has one assist in 21 games
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs have loaned defenseman David Phillips to the Toledo Walleye (ECHL), Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced Wednesday.
Phillips, 22, made his North American debut with the IceHogs on Oct. 4 against Peoria and has skated in 21 games for Rockford this season. He has notched one assists and recorded 13 penalty minutes.
The Beverley, England native appeared in 257 professional games with the Hull Stingrays (BNL/EPL/EIHL) and Belfast Giants (EIHL) before signing his first North American contract with Rockford on July 28, 2009.
Next Home Game: Thursday, Dec. 31 vs. Houston Aeros. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Celebrate the New Year as the Rockford IceHogs take on the Houston Aeros for the first time at the Rockford MetroCentre.
