TEAM RED - 7

TEAM WHITE - 6

With less than 30 seconds left in the third period, Team Red's
Ben Eager sealed the game in Red's 7-6 win over White, completing a hat trick against White's Antti Niemi.

Team Red dominated the first period, accounting for all three goals scored in the frame. Starting things off was
Brent Seabrook with the goal and Patrick Kane taking the assist. Less than a minute later, Eager put one in the net for his third goal of training camp while Duncan Keith capped the run with a tally of his own.

Team White responded quickly in the second period, scoring two goals in 20 seconds.
Dustin Byfuglien, with help from Patrick Sharp and Niklas Hjalmarsson, put one between the posts and Andrew Ladd slipped a shot past Red's Joe Fallon. Red's Rob Klinkhammer retaliated with his own goal, pushing Red to a 4-2 lead.

The third period was a consistent back-and-forth battle. Eager started the period with an unassisted goal, putting Team Red three goals ahead 5-2. White came back hard with two goals within a minute by Sharp and
Simon Danis-Pepin. With Team White playing catch-up, Red’s Burish sailed an unassisted goal past goaltender Corey Crawford. Team White struck back again, this time with consecutive goals by Danis-Pepin and Sharp, tying the game 6-6.

With the clock ticking down to under a minute, Red’s Eager fired off a the winning shot clinching the game 7-6.

Danny Bois and Bracken Kearns dropped the gloves during the game, followed by Kyle Beach and Jacob Dowell settling things on the ice.

Team Red’s
Joe Fallon allowed two goals, Alec Richards allowed four goals and Cristobal Huet allowed no goals in his 20 minutes of work. Team White’s Antti Niemi allowed four markers while Corey Crawford allowed three.
