Fans can send the defenseman a question

Rockford, Ill.- This summer’s third question and answer session with an IceHogs player will feature defenseman Danny Richmond. Fans can submit a question for Richmond at icehogs@icehogs.com.

Richmond appeared in 40 games with the IceHogs in 2007-08 and seven with the Chicago Blackhawks. The Chicago native accumulated a pair of goals and 12 assists with the IceHogs while racking up 156 penalty minutes. A spleen injury in February ended Richmond’s campaign prematurely.

The ’07-08 season marked Richmond’s third with the Blackhawks organization. Richmond has played 49 games in the NHL over his four-year career between Chicago and the Carolina Hurricanes.

All questions must be submitted by Thursday at 5 p.m. In the subject line of the e-mail, put “Danny Richmond Q & A.” All e-mails must include your name and hometown.
