DAHLSTROM RECALLED BY BLACKHAWKS

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks today announced they have recalled defenseman Carl Dahlstrom from the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Dahlstrom, 23, has amassed a career-high 23 points (3g, 20a) in 47 games with Rockford this season. He leads all IceHogs defensemen in points, is tied for the overall team lead with a +14 rating and earned a selection to the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic in January. The blueliner also notched a season-high five-game point streak (1g, 8a) from Dec. 1-12 and has tallied points in four of his last seven games since Jan. 20.
The native of Stockholm, Sweden was originally selected by the Blackhawks in the second round (51st overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft. He made his professional debut with the IceHogs during the 2014-15 season and has combined for 35 points (9g, 26a) in 123 career games with Rockford from 2014-18.
