CSN Announces Hull/Mikita Night Coverage
Chicago, IL (March 5, 2008) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home of the Chicago Blackhawks GAME ON!: The Home Series, is planning a big night of special coverage for its next home game telecast on Friday, March 7 as the network will deliver live coverage of the on-ice, pre-game ceremony honoring Blackhawk legends and Hockey Hall of Famers Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita. Comcast SportsNet’s live coverage begins at 7:00 PM with the entire evening’s coverage, including Chevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Live and Crown Royal Blackhawks Post Game Live, taking place from the United Center.
Immediately following the Hull/Mikita ceremony, Comcast SportsNet will air live high-definition (HD) game coverage of the Blackhawks hosting the San Jose Sharks. Comcast SportsNet’s Blackhawks announcing tandem of Dan Kelly and Eddie Olczyk call the live game action. This and every GAME ON!: The Home Series telecast on Comcast SportsNet is presented by the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers.
Note the following highlights for Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of Friday night’s Blackhawks telecast:
• Complete, uninterrupted LIVE coverage of the Bobby Hull/Stan Mikita pre-game ceremony
• Pre-Game Live exclusive one-on-one interviews with Mikita and Hull
• Game produced in full High-Definition format (1080i, 5.1 Dolby)
• Twelve high-definition (HD) game cameras to be utilized during the game
• Chevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Live and Crown Royal Blackhawks Post Game Live (hosted by Chris Boden and Steve Konroyd) will take place LIVE from the United Center
• SportsNite’s Josh Mora will provide live reports between the Blackhawks-Ducks benches during the game, along with pre-game player interviews from that location before the game
• Blackhawk player to wear wireless microphone throughout the game (player to be determined)

Comcast SportsNet’s remaining Blackhawks regular season home game telecasts this season are as follows: March 12 vs. Carolina, March 19 vs. Washington, March 23 vs. St. Louis, and April 2 vs. Detroit.
