The excitement from the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup for the first time in 49 seasons is continuing throughout the summer in Chicagoland. The Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers association, in co-operation with the Chicago Blackhawks, continues their long tradition of bringing commemorative posters to fans. The "one of a kind" collector edition poster, featuring a photo of the post game team celebration on ice and cameo shots of captain
Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane is available at no cost from all participating area Chevy Dealers. Toews and Kane have worked with the local Chevy Dealer group for the past three seasons. The poster also incorporates a photo of the Blackhawks themed custom Chevy Camaro that was featured at the Chicago Auto Show and on ice at Blackhawks games.

"We want to share our continuing excitement with the Blackhawks fans and give them something to remember this special season with," stated Tom Gollinger, President of the Chicagoland Chevy Dealers and a local Chevy dealer. "We hope that Patrick and Jonathan's pictures are hanging in every fan household throughout Chicagoland courtesy of the Chevy Dealers."

The Chicagoland Chevy Dealers began this long tradition of commemorative posters going back to the 1985 Bears Super Bowl team. The "Black and Blues Brothers" poster featured the offensive line of the championship Bears. As the Bears marched toward winning the Super Bowl, the Chevy Dealers continued to re-print the poster as demand grew. It was estimated that over 900,000 posters were distributed that season.

The Chevy Dealers continued with three more Bears posters and eventually brought out several posters featuring Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls. Jordan was a Chicagoland Chevy Dealers spokesperson throughout most of his playing career. The final Michael Jordan / Chevy Blazer poster brought him together with Muhammad Ali in 1999. That poster is still seen at sports memorabilia shows and continues to receive accolades for its artistic value.

The new Blackhawks poster will be available only at Chevy Dealers while supplies last. Consumers can locate their nearest participating dealership by logging onto ChevyDrivesChicago.com.
