"Chicago Tribune Live" To Celebrate 1000th Live Telecast
Chicago, IL (September 15, 2008) ā Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the television home for the most comprehensive local sports news and talk coverage of the Chicago sports scene, will celebrate the 1000th live airing of its flagship weeknight talk show, Chicago Tribune Live, on Wednesday, September 17 at 5:30 PM.
The 1000th live airing of āCTLā on September 17 will feature the programās most prominent guest panel to date as White Sox and Bulls Chairman JERRY REINSDORF, Blackhawks Chairman ROCKY WIRTZ and Tribune Company Senior Vice President/General Counsel and Secretary CRANE KENNEY join host David Kaplan for this milestone telecast. This airing will also feature āflashbacksā from the showās archive of top guests and top discussions over the past four years.

Chicago Tribune Live presented by Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers, originally hosted by Comcast SportsNetās Dan Jiggetts and currently hosted by Chicago sports personality David Kaplan, airs Monday-Friday from 5:30-6:30 PM on Comcast SportsNet and features a group of rotating writers from the Chicago Tribune, along with special guests from the local/national media and a variety of guests from the local/national sports and entertainment industry, discussing the dayās most pressing sports stories and hottest topics.
āChicago Tribune Liveā made its debut as Comcast SportsNetās very first program ever to air on the regional sports network back on October 1, 2004. The first show, which took place at Comcast SportsNetās temporary studio facilities in Oak Brook, IL, featured a panel that included Mike Ditka, John Paxson, Tribune sports writers Rick Morrissey and Phil Rogers and special guest Donovan McNabb.
