CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS RETURN WINGER BRYAN BICKELL ON LOAN

Rockford, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks announced on Monday that the National Hockey League club has returned left wing Bryan Bickell on loan to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.

Bickell, 23, has appeared in 12 games with the Blackhawks this season, recording a goal and an assist, including a helper in Sunday's win over Nashville. He also has a +4 plus/minus rating in that time.

Overall, Bickell has notched three goals in 19 career regular-season games with the Blackhawks over parts of three seasons (2006-07; 2007-08 and 2009-10).

He has collected six goals, ten points and 39 penalty minutes in 26 AHL tilts with the IceHogs this season. Chicago’s third choice (41st overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Bickell has appeared in 187 career AHL regular-season contests with the Norfolk Admirals (2006-07) and IceHogs (2007-09) since turning pro in 2006, registering 41 goals, 47 assists, 88 points and 217 penalty minutes.
