Rockford, Ill.-The 2008 Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Camp is underway and Rockford IceHogs fans can get updates beginning Wednesday on the team’s official Web site, www.icehogs.com.

Several skaters from the IceHogs 2007-08 club are participating in the camp, including Akim Aliu, Adam Berti, Evan Brophey, J.C. Sawyer and Brennan Turner. Other participants include Chicago’s top two draft picks from the recent NHL Entry Draft Kyle Beach (11th overall) and Shawn Lalonde (68th overall) and 2005 draft picks Dan Bertram (54th overall) and Nathan Davis (113th overall).

The camp runs until Friday, July 12 at the Blackhawks practice facility, Edge Ice Arena, in Bensenville. Each day begins with a pro session workout on the ice from 10-11:00 a.m. The day concludes with a prospect scrimmage from 12:30 – 2 p.m.

The camp is open to the public and all practice times are subject to change.
