Rockford, Ill.- Watch Jack Skille, Mark Cullen and the rest of the American Hockey League All-Stars through Rockford’s cable television provider tomorrow afternoon.

The 2010 Time Warner Cable All-Star Classic game will be broadcast tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 20) at 12:30 p.m. local time on Comcast Sport Net (Comcast channel 58 in Rockford). To find what channel Comcast Sports Net is on in your area, visit Comcast.com.



In addition to the crowds who will witness the
2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic in person at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, the action will also reach millions of AHL fans worldwide. For a full schedule of when and where the event will be shown, visit the AHL’s list of network television partners.

The event is being produced by the New England Sports Network (NESN) and televised to more than 100 million households in North America.

NESN’s broadcast crew for the event is led by Tom Caron (play-by-play), a two-time winner of the James H. Ellery Award for outstanding media coverage of the American Hockey League and the former voice of the AHL’s Portland Pirates who currently serves as NESN’s Boston Red Sox studio host and Hockey East play-by-play announcer. Providing color analysis will be former AHL and NHL defenseman Bob Beers, a member of the 1999 Calder Cup champion Providence Bruins who now serves as a commentator on Boston Bruins radio broadcasts and as NESN’s Hockey East studio host. The third member of the team will be rinkside reporter John Chandler, who serves as both an anchor and a reporter for SportsDesk, NESN’s popular sports news, information and highlights program.

The event also marks the continuation of a partnership between the AHL and TSN, in which the leading sports network in Canada will carry the AHL All-Star Classic to nine million households nationally.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Jan. 23 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins: The Hogs welcome the Grand Rapids Griffins into the Rockford MetroCentre for a 7:05 p.m. start. The first 2,500 fans will pick up an IceHogs fleece blanket thanks to Lonnie’s Carpet Max.
