CARRUTH REASSIGNED TO TOLEDO WALLEYE

Rockford, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned goaltender Mac Carruth from the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) to the Toledo Walleye (ECHL).

The Jackson, Wyoming native is in his first professional season after playing for the Portland Winterhawks (WHL) in over the past three season. Carruth had a record of 30-7-2 last season in Portland to go along with a .929 save percentage and 2.05 goals against average.

Carruth was selected by the Blackhawks in the seventh round (#191 overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Oct. 19 vs. Grand Rapids. Game time is 7 p.m. Rockford opens the home portion of their regular season schedule against the Griffins.
