
CARRUTH REASSIGNED TO ROCKFORD FROM INDY

Goalie made 38 saves in appearance with Fuel Wednesday
Rockford, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have reassigned goalie Mac Carruth from the ECHL’s Indy Fuel to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Carruth, 22, was assigned to Indy on Tuesday and appeared in the Fuel’s contest on Wednesday night against Orlando. The Jackson, Wyo. native stopped 38 shots in a 4-1 defeat to the Solar Bears. Overall, Carruth has made four appearances with the Fuel in 2014-15.
The backstop manned the pipes in seven games for the IceHogs in 2013-14, posting a 2-2-1 record with a 3.36 goals against average and .880 save percentage.
Next Home Game: Friday, Nov. 21 vs. Iowa Wild. Game begins at 7 p.m. The IceHogs second meeting with the Wild kicks off with another Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party at the BMO.
