
CARRUTH REASSIGNED TO INDY

Rockford, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have reassigned goaltender Mac Carruth from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League to the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.
Carruth, 22, has appeared in three games for Indy, accumulating a 0-1-1-1 record with a 3.54 goals against average and .853 save percentage.
The Jackson, Wyo. native manned the pipes in seven games for the IceHogs in 2013-14, posting a 2-2-1 record with a 3.36 goals against average and .880 save percentage.
The second year pro also split time with the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye and Florida Everblades last season. Carruth earned an 8-15-0 mark, with one shutout, a 3.36 GAA and a .898 save percentage in 25 appearances with Toledo. In seven games with Florida, he compiled a 2-4-1 record with a 3.45 GAA and a .874 save percentage.
