CARRUTH REASSIGNED TO INDY
Rockford, Ill.- The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced today that they have reassigned goalie Mac Carruth to the Indy Fuel (ECHL).
Carruth, 23, appeared in his first game of the 2015-16 season on Saturday night against the Stockton Heat. He played in three regular season games for the IceHogs in 2014-15, posting a 2-1-0-0 record including his first career AHL shutout on Nov. 23 against the Chicago Wolves. The second year netminder showed a 1.69 goals against average and .925 save percentage in his three starts for Rockford.
The Jackson, Wyoming native recorded 39 games, three shutouts, and a save percentage of .914 for the Fuel in the 2014-15 season.
