BOLLIG AND STANTON SIGN ATO'S WITH ROCKFORD

Pair added to IceHogs roster

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Friday that forward Brandon Bollig and defenseman Ryan Stanton were signed to an ATO with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Bollig, 23, recently completed his sophomore season at St. Lawrence University (NCAA). The 6-3, 215-pound forward ranked fourth on the Saints with 25 points and led the club with 104 penalty minutes.

Prior to skating in St. Lawrence, Bollig spent three years with the Lincoln Stars (USHL). Bollig appeared in 158 career games with the Stars, netting 37g-36a and racking up 593 PIMs.

Stanton, 20, signed a three-year entry level contract with the Blackhawks on March 12. The undrafted defenseman played the last four seasons with the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL) and increased his production each season in Moose Jaw.

The St. Albert, ALB native led all Warriors defenseman with 40 points in 2009-10 and chipped in six assists in seven postseason games. Stanton set junior career marks with 10 goals and 30 assists as well this season.

Next Home Game: Friday, April 2 vs. Lake Erie Monsters. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs open up their final home weekend of the 2009-10 regular season.
