Bolland Recalled; Williams To IR

Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that forward Dave Bolland has been recalled from the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. Forward Jason Williams has been placed on injured reserve with a groin strain.

This will be Bolland’s second tour of duty with the Blackhawks this season. He was called up back on October 26th and played in 10 games with the Blackhawks this season recording three assists. His assist at Dallas on October 31st was his first NHL point.

Bolland has appeared in 14 games for the Rockford IceHogs scoring six goals, three on the power play, to go along with four assists for 10 points. He has 18 penalty minutes and a +2 rating.

Jason Williams has been bothered by a groin strain for the past few weeks. E has played in just one of the last eight games for the Blackhawks. On the season, Williams has played in 20 games and has scored seven goals, five on the power play, to g along with 12 assists for 19 points.
