The "Golden Jet" will sign autographs, meet fans
Rockford, Ill.- National Hockey League Hall-of-Famer Bobby Hull is making an appearance at the Rockford IceHogs game on Saturday, Feb. 26 when they take on the Milwaukee Admirals at the Rockford MetroCentre at 7:05 p.m. presented by U.S. Cellular.
An NHL veteran of 23 seasons, Hull skated 15 of them with the Chicago Blackhawks beginning in 1957. In 1,063 career NHL games, the “Golden Jet” accumulated 610g-560a-1,170pts with his career culminating during the 1979-80 season with the Hartford Whalers.
Upon his retirement, Hull was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983. Born in Pointe Anne, Ontario, Hull was a key member of the Blackhawks 1961 Stanley Cup Championship team. In 1966, Hull became the first NHL player to score more than 50 goals in a single season, finishing the campaign with 54 tallies.
Hull will sign autographs before and during Rockford’s game on Feb. 26 for a limited number of fans. A select number of copies of Hull’s recent book “The Golden Jet” will be available for purchase at the signing.

Also on Feb. 26, the first 2,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs Jersey Bag courtesy of Rockford Orthopedic, BOB FM and WTVO-TV, channel-17.
