The Chicago Blackhawks will conduct their 2011 Prospect Camp at Johnny’s Ice House West in Chicago (2250 W. Madison St) from Thursday, July 7 to Monday, July 11.
The camp roster of 46 invites is highlighted by 2011 NHL Entry Draft Selections Mark McNeill (18th overall), Phillip Danault (26th overall), Adam Clendening (36th overall), Brandon Saad (43rd overall) and Michael Paliotta (70th overall), as well as former first round selections Kevin Hayes (2010) and Dylan Olsen (2009).
Players in camp who have already donned an IceHogs jersey include David Gilbert, Jimmy Hayes, Joe Lavin, Olsen and Philippe Paradis.
On-ice sessions will begin on Thursday, July 7 and will run from approximately 10:00 A.M. to 1:15 P.M. (CT) at Johnny’s Ice House West. On Friday and Sunday, the camp will be split into two groups that will each practice for approximately 75 minutes. On Saturday and Monday scrimmages (three 20-minute periods) will be conducted.
All on-ice sessions at Johnny’s Ice House West are open to the media. During prospect camp, select players will be made available to the media each day once their on-ice and off-ice workouts are complete. All practice times are subject to change.
