BLACKHAWKS TO HOST PROSPECT CAMP JULY 10-15

Chicago, Ill. - The 2016 Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Camp will take place from Sunday, July 10th until Friday, July 15th. This camp gives Blackhawks prospects the chance to sharpen their skills and work with the Blackhawks developmental staff at Johnny’s IceHouse West in Chicago (2550 W. Madison St). Fans and media are open to attend the free event.

There are eight IceHogs players who skated with the team last year at this year’s prospect camp. The most notable skaters who spent the majority of the 2015-16 season in Rockford are centers Vinnie Hinostroza (6th round, 169th overall in 2012), Tanner Kero (undrafted) and winger Ryan Hartman (30th overall in 2013). Hinostroza led the IceHogs with 51 points (18g-33a) in 66 games last season. Kero broke a franchise record becoming the first rookie to notch 20 goals in a season. Hartman, in his second season, registered 15 goals and 20 assists in 61 games with Rockford while also appearing in three games with the Blackhawks.
