BLACKHAWKS TO HOST 2012 PROSPECT CAMP FROM JULY 9-13
Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks will conduct their 2012 Prospect Camp at Johnny’s Ice House West in Chicago (2550 W. Madison St.) from Monday, July 9 to Friday, July 13.
The camp roster of 52 invites is highlighted by 2012 National Hockey League Entry Draft selections Teuvo Teräväinen (18th overall), Chris Calnan (79th overall) and Illinois native Vincent Hinostroza (169th overall), as well as former first-round selections Mark McNeill (2011), Phillip Danault (2011) and Kevin Hayes (2010) and 2011 second-round picks Adam Clendening (36th overall) and Brandon Saad (43rd overall).
On-ice sessions will begin on Monday, July 9 and will run from approximately 12:30-3:00 p.m. CT at Johnny’s IceHouse West. On Tuesday, the camp will be split into two groups that will each practice for approximately 75 minutes. Scrimmages will be conducted Wednesday-Friday (three 20-minute periods).
All on-ice sessions at Johnny’s IceHouse West are open to the media. During Prospect Camp, select players will be made available to the media each day once their on-ice and off-ice workouts are complete.
All practice and media availability times are subject to change. Media planning to cover any of the practice sessions should contact a member of the Chicago Blackhawks’ Media Relations Department the morning of each skate to confirm times. The department will release updated camp information each night.
