The Chicago Blackhawks will debut their new third jerseys on Tuesday, December 1 when the team hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets at the United Center at 7:00 P.M.
The jerseys are a variation of the ones worn by the team at Winter Classic 2009 at Wrigley Field on January 1, 2009. Both were inspired by the jerseys the Blackhawks sported from 1934 to 1937. Different from the Winter Classic set, the brand new third jerseys have cream-colored laces along with secondary logo patches on the shoulders inspired by Chicago’s jerseys from the mid 1950s.
Fans can purchase the new third jerseys exclusively at The Blackhawks Store (333 N. Michigan Ave.), Fandemonium inside the United Center, the team’s official kiosk at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg or on chicagoblackhawks.com.
Chicago will wear the jerseys a total of 12 times during the 2009-10 regular season. For the full schedule, click here.
