Blackhawks Set Franchise Record With Ninth Straight Win

The Chicago Blackhawks established a franchise record with their ninth consecutive victory on Sunday after defeating the Minnesota Wild, 4-1, at Excel Energy Center. The current streak is now the longest in the 82-year history of the franchise, eclipsing the previous mark of eight set from Dec. 9 to 26, 1971 before being matched a second time from Jan. 4 to Jan. 21, 1981.

Chicago began the streak on Dec. 7 when the squad topped the Phoenix Coyotes, 7-1, at the United Center. The Blackhawks have outscored opponents, 40-12, during the run. The complete list of games is below:
