Blackhawks' Seabrook To Host Celebrity Bowling Outing On Saturday
In conjunction with the Inner City Education Program (ICE), Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook will host his first annual celebrity “ICE” Bowl at 10pin Bowling Lounge (330 N. State St. in Chicago) on Sat., Nov. 8 from 1:30 to 4:30 P.M.
Seabrook will be joined by several teammates, including Brian Campbell, Adam Burish, James Wisniewski and Duncan Keith, along with Tommy Hawk, the team’s mascot, the Blackhawks Bud Light Ice Crew and local media celebrities at the event. The Inner City Education Program was established in 2003 to help low income youths who play organized hockey educational opportunities not otherwise available to them.
“It is an honor and pleasure for me to be involved in such a special program,” Seabrook said. “This is all for a wonderful cause and I’m thrilled at the support of my teammates on this event.”
Now in his fourth season with the Blackhawks, Seabrook, 23, has been involved with the Inner City Education Program for the last two years, helping out at fundraisers and donating equipment.
Fans interested in attending can purchase lane sponsorships that include bowling with the attending Blackhawks players and media celebrities or spectator tickets for adults and children.
