BLACKHAWKS RECALL MORIN AND AGREE TO TERMS WITH MILLS

Morin Mills Recall

Chicago, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Jeremy Morin from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Additionally, the team has agreed to terms with forward Brad Mills on a one-year contract and recalled him from the IceHogs.

Morin, 22, has recorded eight points (4g, 4a) in eight games this season with the IceHogs. The Auburn, N.Y., native leads the team in goals, ranks second in points and shares second in assists. Morin has posted a season-high two points on three occasions, including a season-best two assists on Oct. 11 at Lake Erie.

Mills, 30, has posted four points (2g, 2a) in eight games this season with Rockford. The Terrance, British Columbia, native began the season with points in four-straight games from Oct. 5 to Oct 12. Mills has appeared in 31 career National Hockey League games, all with New Jersey, posting two points (1g, 1a). He has also recorded 110 points (48g, 62a) in 293 career AHL games with Lowell, Albany and Rockford. Prior his professional career, Mills earned 61 points (26g, 35a) in 96 games with Yale University from 2003 to 2007.

The Blackhawks have also placed defenseman Michael Kostka on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Oct. 22.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Oct. 26 vs. Charlotte Checkers at 3 p.m. The first 5,000 fans to the BMO will receive a 2013-14 IceHogs magnet schedule compliments of T6 Broadband. Fans are also invited to come dressed for Halloween as the IceHogs will be hosting a Trick-or-Treat version of "Skate with the Hogs" following the game.
