Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have recalled forward Vincent Hinostroza from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League and assigned forward Kyle Baun to Rockford.

Hinostroza, a native of Bartlett, Ill., has registered one assist in two games with the IceHogs this season; he made his professional debut with Rockford last year, collecting two assists in five contests. The 21-year-old recorded 76 points (19G, 57A) and a +11 plus/minus rating in 76 games with the University of Notre Dame across two seasons (2013-15). He was named a 2015 First-Team All-Hockey East selection after his sophomore campaign last year. Hinostroza was drafted by Chicago in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2012 National Hockey League Draft.

Baun, 23, posted five shots on goal in five games with the Blackhawks this season. He made his professional debut last year when he appeared in two regular-season games with Chicago. The Toronto native played the last three seasons (2012-15) for Colgate University (NCAA) where he collected 79 points on 39 goals and 40 assists in 113 games. Baun finished tied for first on Colgate in goals (14) and tied for second in assists (15) and points (29) while leading his team in PIM (68) last season.
