BLACKHAWKS RECALL HINOSTROZA
Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have recalled center Vincent Hinostroza from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Additionally, the Blackhawks have placed forward Marian Hossa on Injured Reserve.
Hinostroza, 21, made his National Hockey League debut with the Blackhawks on Oct. 17 vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets and has played four games with the Blackhawks this season. The Chicago native leads Rockford with 27 points (10G, 17A) in 41 games this year after making his professional debut with the IceHogs last season. He was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Next Home Game: Wednesday, Feb. 17 vs. Manitoba Moose at 10:30 a.m. The IceHogs welcome the Moose to the BMO Harris Bank Center for the annual “School Day Game” in the first of four meetings on the season. Rockford is 7-8-1-0 all-time versus Manitoba.
