Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have recalled defenseman Klas Dahlbeck from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Dahlbeck recorded four shots on goal and two penalty minutes in two preseason contests with Chicago.
The 23 year-old posted career highs in goals (10), assists (25), points (35), and a team-best plus/minus rating (+20) last season with the IceHogs. The defenseman ranked second in scoring on the team among d-men, and eighth overall, and led Rockford blueliners in goals. Dahlbeck shared co-best Defenseman honors for the IceHogs last season with Adam Clendening.
