The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned right wing Jack Skille to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Skille, 22, has notched two points (G, A) in six games with the Blackhawks this season. The Madison, Wisconsin, native has appeared in 30 games with the Blackhawks over the last three seasons (2007-10) collecting eight points (5G, 3A) and five penalty minutes.
The seventh overall pick in the 2005 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Skille ranks third on Rockford with 12 goals and 26 points in 32 AHL tilts. He was named to the PlanetUSA Team for the 2010 AHL All-Star Game, which takes place in Portland, Maine on January 18 and 19.
