BLACKHAWKS REASSIGN MORIN

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have reassigned forward Jeremy Morin to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Morin, 22, has appeared in 15 games this season with the Blackhawks, posting five points (1g, 4a) in those contests. The Auburn, N.Y., native has also recorded 12 points (6g, 6a) in 13 AHL games with the IceHogs.

Overall, the Auburn, N.Y. native has registered 62 goals and 60 assists in 171 career AHL games, all with the IceHogs.

Morin was drafted in the second round (#45 overall) by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft before being acquired by the Blackhawks on June 24, 2010.
