BLACKHAWKS REASSIGN HINOSTROZA TO ROCKFORD
Centerman has played two games for IceHogs this season
Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have reassigned forward Vince Hinostroza to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Hinostroza, a native of Bartlett, Ill., has tallied two penalty minutes over four games with the Blackhawks this season, including his National Hockey League debut on Oct. 17 vs. CBJ. The 21-year old has also recorded one assist in two games with Rockford this year. Hinostroza registered 76 points (19G, 57A) and a +11 plus/minus rating in 76 games with the University of Notre Dame across two seasons (2013-15). He was drafted by Chicago in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Hinostroza appeared in six games with Rockford last season, tallying two assists.
