Center led IceHogs in points at time of recall

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have reassigned center Vincent Hinostroza to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Hinostroza, 21, made his National Hockey League debut with the Blackhawks on Oct. 17 vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets and has played in seven games with the Blackhawks this season. The Chicago native has scored 27 points (10g-17a) in 41 games with Rockford this year after making his professional debut with the IceHogs last season. At the time of his recall to Chicago on Feb. 14, Hinostroza led the IceHogs with 27 points. Hinostroza was a key component during Rockford's eight-game homestand in January, scoring the first goal of the game four times. He was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.

Next Home Game: Tickets for Saturday, March 5 vs. Lake Erie Monsters at 7 p.m are SOLD OUT. Tickets still remain for the game on March 6 versus the Monsters at 4 p.m. After the game, the team will host a “Skate with the Hogs” event where fans will be welcome to skate on the ice with their favorite IceHogs players.
