Blackhawks Reassign Gilbert to IceHogs
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League, announced today that defenseman Dennis Gilbert has been reassigned to the IceHogs.
Gilbert did not suit up for a game since his latest recall on Jan. 29 but has appeared in 20 games with the Blackhawks during the 2019-20 campaign, registering three points (1g, 2a) and 38 PIMs. The Buffalo, New York native tallied his first National Hockey League point on Dec. 12 at ARI and his first career NHL goal on Dec. 27 vs. NYI.
In 15 games with Rockford this season, the blueliner has recorded two assists, 24 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus rating.

Saturday is Sock Monkey Madness Night presented by Midway Village Museum. As a part of the evening, sock monkey bobbleheads will be given away to the first 1,500 fans in the arena.
