BLACKHAWKS REASSIGN DARLING TO ROCKFORD
Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have reassigned goaltender Scott Darling to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Darling, 25, appeared in seven games with Chicago, posting a 5-2-0 record, .937 save percentage and 1.97 goals-against average. The Lemont, Ill., native made his National Hockey League debut with the Blackhawks on Oct. 26 vs. Ottawa, turning aside 31 of 32 shots on goal for his first career win.
Darling paces the IceHogs in wins this season, carrying an 8-2-1 record with a .929 SV% and 2.05 GAA in 11 games.
Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 26 vs. Iowa Wild. Puck drops at 7 p.m. The IceHogs return home from a six-game swing on the road to take on the Wild at the BMO.
