Blackhawks Re-Assign Morrison to Indy; IceHogs Loan Yetman to ECHL Affiliate

ROCKFORD, IL – The Chicago Blackhawks, National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate of the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League (AHL), announced today that forward Brad Morrison has been re-assigned from the IceHogs to the Indy Fuel of the ECHL. The IceHogs also announced that forward Chad Yetman has been loaned to the Fuel.

Morrison, 24, recorded three goals and two assists for five points in six games with the IceHogs this season. In his IceHogs debut of Feb. 13 at Iowa, the Prince George, British Columbia, native scored two goals in the first period and began his season with a three-game point streak (three goals, one assist).

Yetman, 21, netted a goal and two assists for three points in 10 games with the IceHogs this season. The Whitby, Ontario, product scored his first professional goal in his professional debut on Feb. 6 vs. Chicago and picked up both of his assists on Feb. 13 at Iowa, helping on both of Morrison’s first-period goals.

The IceHogs open a home-and-home weekend series against the Chicago Wolves on Saturday, Mar. 27 at 7:00 p.m. in Hoffman Estates, IL and return to BMO Harris Bank Center on Sunday, Mar. 28 at 4:00 p.m. Fans can watch all of this season’s action LIVE on AHLTV and 23.2 Antenna TV WIFR (home games)!
