BLACKHAWKS LOAN TOOTOO TO ROCKFORD

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Chicago Blackhawks today announced they have loaned forward Jordin Tootoo to the Rockford IceHogs (AHL).
Tootoo, 34, has posted three points (2g, 1a) in 50 career games with the Blackhawks. The Churchill, Manitoba native has also totaled 161 points (65g, 96a) and 1,010 penalty minutes in 723 career NHL regular-season games, and tallied 10 points (3g, 7a) and 65 PIM in 42 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Tootoo was originally selected by the Nashville Predators in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. The 5-9, 195-lbs forward has skated with the Predators (2003-2012), Detroit Red Wings (2012-2014), New Jersey Devils (2014-2016) and Blackhawks (2016-17) during his professional career.
Tootoo has also compiled 29g-38a-67pts and 503 PIM in 151 career AHL games with the Milwaukee Admirals (2004-06) and Grand Rapids Griffins (2013-14).
