Blackhawks Cut Three From Camp

The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned center Tim Brent to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs and have returned center Igor Makarov to St. Petersburg (Russia). In addition, the Blackhawks have released right wing Jesse Boulerice from training camp.

The Blackhawks’ training camp roster is now at 32 active players, which includes 18 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goaltenders.

Chicago will round out its preseason schedule against the Colorado Avalanche at the United Center on Sunday at 6 P.M. The game will be broadcast live on News/Talk 720 WGN Radio, starting with the pre-game show at 5:50 P.M. John Wiedeman and Troy Murray will handle the game call with Judd Sirott serving as the studio host.
