Blackhawks, Comcast SportsNet Announce 7 Game Home TV Schedule
The Chicago Blackhawks and Comcast SportsNet have announced the complete schedule for GAME ON!: The Home Series, a season long, seven game home series that will be televised on Comcast SportsNet. The live, high-definition telecasts begin this Sunday, November 11, as the Blackhawks take on the Red Wings, one of two featured televised home games between the arch rivals.
āOur goal in putting home games back on television is to bring the excitement and energy of our great team back to Blackhawk fans,ā said Blackhawks Chairman W. Rockwell āRockyā Wirtz. āWe know that the more our fans are able to see the action of games, the more they will want to come out to the United Center and experience it firsthand.ā
The series includes games against division foes the Nashville Predators and the St. Louis Blues, the Calgary Flames with perennial All-Star Jarome Iginla and visitors from the west coast including the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Jose Sharks. The full schedule is as follows:
- Sunday, November 11 6:00 p.m. vs. Detroit Red Wings
- Friday, November 30 7:30 p.m. vs. Phoenix Coyotes
- Sunday, December 9 6:00 p.m. vs. Calgary Flames
- Wednesday, December 26 7:30 p.m. vs. Nashville Predators
- Sunday, January 6 6:00 p.m. vs. Detroit Red Wings
- Friday, March 7 7:30 p.m. vs. San Jose Sharks
- Sunday, March 23 2:00 p.m. vs. St. Louis Blues
The seven game home series will be presented by the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers.

Prior to each of the seven home game telecasts, Comcast SportsNet will air āChevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Liveā featuring live reports from the United Center. The games will be immediately followed by locker room interviews and head coach Denis Savardās press conference on āBlackhawks Post Game Live.ā

Those in attendance at the game on November 11 will join the team and special guests in celebrating this seasonās inaugural home telecast.
