Blackhawks Assign Soderlund to Indy; IceHogs Loan McLaughlin to ECHL Affiliate

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League, announced today that the Blackhawks have assigned forward Tim Soderlund to the Indy Fuel of the ECHL from the IceHogs. The IceHogs also announced that forward Dylan McLaughlin has been loaned to the Fuel.

Soderlund, 22, skated in six games with the Fuel, netting two goals and four assists for six points. The Skellefta, Sweden, native dressed in 29 games with the IceHogs this season, adding a goal and two assists for three points including his first North American professional goal on Nov. 30 vs. Grand Rapids.

McLaughlin, 24, skated in 28 games with the IceHogs this season, recording two goals and five assists for seven points including his first career AHL tally on Jan. 3 at Iowa. In 19 games with the Fuel this year, the Lancaster, New York, product picked up 23 points (13 goals, 10 assists).
